About us
Bensiri Consultancy services Ltd, which started in Accra (Ghana) in 2003, was known as Benwood Consult, a partnership between two friends Mr E. Lockwood and Mr. Kofi Bentil who were equal partners. The firm began as an Auditing and Public Relations business but later expanded into Advertising, Small-business Accounting, and Tax Advisory services due to the prudent management strategies employed by the partners.

Bensiri Consultancy Services Ltd is now headed by Mr. Kofi Bentil whose academic and professional credibility is indicated by the fact that he holds an undergraduate degree in Banking & Finance (BBA Hons) awarded by the University of Ghana and a postgraduate degree in Law (LLM) awarded by the Open University in the United Kingdom. Also, he has attained the status of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), granted by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. With over 15 years of experience working for domestic and multi-national organisations, he has gained in-depth expertise in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Administration, and Law.
As part of our team, we have a Solutions Consultant who is our source of insight for evaluation and analysis. This consultant holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics (BSc Hons) awarded by the University of Science and Technology in Ghana, a postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science (MSc) awarded by Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom, a Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII) awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute in the United Kingdom, and the Retirement Provision Certificate awarded by the Pensions Management Institute in the United Kingdom.
These wealth of knowledge and experience are brought to bear in the services provided by Bensiri Consultancy Services Ltd which includes Financial Accounting, Tax Returns, Tax Refunds, Auditing, Payroll and PAYE for organisations, Payroll and PAYE as an Umbrella Company and, preparation of Financial Statements.
Our aim is to ensure that all clients, considering their unique business or personal needs, are given appropriate financial advice and guidance to enable them to prudently control their financial resources. We also guide our clients to enable them to comply with the requirements of local or international regulatory bodies.
